Personal Statement

My name is Tobias and I am a hockey player from Sweden that has the ambitions to play college hockey for the year 2015. I am right now playing for the Springfield Express in the Western States Hockey League, which is a junior hockey tier 3 league. This is my second year here in the states and last year I played for the Texas jr Brahmas down in Texas. During my last year in Sweden before coming over here 2 seasons ago I played for a junior team called Huddinge hockey, which is in the highest junior league in Sweden. It was during that season I got interested in coming over here to America to play hockey and hopefully also go to college. I am a hardworking player that likes to create space and set up my team mates with nice passes. I am quick on my skates and likes to play physical with and without the puck. I take my off ice training very serious, in fact my second biggest interest after hockey is working out and spending time in the gym so staying in shape has never been a problem for me. I also take my education very serious and want to make sure I get a got a good program fit for me on college.
