Personal Statement
I aspire to be a hard worker no matter what I do. Winning a Division 3 u/18 IIHF World Championship at the age of 15 was a great start to many world championships to come. I have played in three u/18 Division 3 World Championships and in one u/20 Division 3 World Championship. This experience was a great platform for my development as a player. It was an honor to be the Assistant Captain for our u/18 National team and it was also an honor to start for the u/18 and u/20 team. I received 3 MVP awards over my 4 tournaments and I have learned valuable skills of leadership, hard work and dedication that have prepared me for being a great defenseman and leader that will benefit any team. My experience as a field-hockey goalie contributes to my game as a defenseman.
It is my dream to study while I play hockey. I am looking for a program that will suit me the best. Education is of great importance to me and I would love to study at an institution with a good academic program. I believe that my experience along with my work ethic, dedication, discipline and personality will bring exactly what is needed to any sports team as well as to any College/University.
I will be re-taking the SAT this year as I took them in Grade 10.
If i am going to be a professional sportsman, then I will make sure I am the best. I will work the hardest and i will be the most dedicated.
Hard work along with skill goes a long way.
