Personal Statement
My dream is to make hockey my job. But since there will also be a life after hockey, I need a good education in order to be able to look after my family, which I will hopefully have then.
In Germany it is more difficult to do competitive sport and a good school education at the same time. That is why I would very much like to come to the USA, as the possibilities are much better here. I would also like to qualify for higher divisions.
Of course, I'd like to play in Division 1 most of all. I will give everything for it. But if there are athletes who are still better than me, I am of course very grateful for a team and study place in a lower class.
I have to prove myself against a tough and strict head coach and have learned that I can only do it with diligence and performance. But I do not care. I do this all for myself! I love this sport so much! I've learned that I can't let myself be dragged down by individual defeats. As long as I believe in myself and there are people by my side who believe in me, I can achieve anything. Even if it gets difficult ... I am ready to go the hard way and have already started ...
I am single-minded, ambitious and don't let defeat demotivate me. I work for my success, focus on myself and don't allow myself to be distracted or influenced by other people's shows. Nevertheless, I am part of the team and make my task available to the team. I don't like to be in the foreground, I am an important help for the team.
All applicants are definitely great athletes. I don't want to rate others. I always focus on the best, work on myself every day and pay attention to balanced training (strength, strength endurance, endurance, coordination, mobility, technique skills, game observation). My goalkeeping coach and my parents are of great help and support me a lot. It is always my goal to be among the best. I also watch my diet.
I enjoy school and find it relatively easy for me. I don't always like to learn, but I know what I'm doing it for: my future and my success in life. Also, I can only achieve my dream of college hockey if I get a scholarship. Unfortunately, my parents cannot pay all the costs for studying in the USA. So I have to try harder than others.
From August 2022, I will be allowed to become part of the 2008 team of the RedBull Hockey Academy Salzburg (https://www.redbulleishockeyakademie.com/red-bull-akademie). I thankfully received a scholarship for the academy and will receive sports and academic training at the highest level by 2027. My goal is to have learned all the basics for the following steps, junior hockey and college hockey. But one step comes after another. I'm looking forward to the time and everything else!
Addendum: I was able to shorten my school and training period and will already be able to graduate in the summer of 2026.
