Personal Statement
Ever since I was a little kid I've been fascinated by space and it's mysteries, and in recent years I've wanted to pursue the dream of working in that field. Studying space would be a dream come true. My dad introduced me to hockey at the age of 6, and I have loved it ever since. I never was a real "superstar" in my younger days, but thanks to my parents unconditional love, that never stopped me. My mom always called me a "late bloomer", and she was right in a way. I like to believe that my view of the game is what sets me apart from the rest, I'm quick-thinking, and controlling on the field. I may not be flashy and score every goal, but I'm the backbone of a good defense. Other than that, I'm very social and extroverted, not afraid to speak my mind when I see possible improvements both hockey wise and academically. I smile a lot and generally bring a positive vibe to whatever group I'm with, and at the end of the day making other people smile is what I strive for. I strive to be a better person than yesterday, and like to put that idea on others as well.
