Personal Statement
Hockey is so much more than just a sport for me, it is a lifestyle that brings me joy every time I step on the ice. I want my journey to include playing at a competitive division 1 or 2 College or University in the United States of America. This may start with playing Junior A or B first. After playing college hockey, I will continue to develop my skills and take them to the NHL or one of the OHL, AHL or WHL prior to making the final jump to the NHL.
I will be a beneficial player to have on your roster because I am a fast two-way center with a high IQ, competitive and versatile. My strengths on the ice are speed, awareness, relentlessness, passing, shooting and play making. I am able to navigate the ice very well by constantly putting myself in scoring positions. I use these skills to create space on the ice and consistently generate scoring opportunities for myself and my teammates. I am an honour roll student and am confident that I will be able to successfully manage the demands of both a collegiate athletic and academic career.
