Personal Statement

I have played ice hockey for more than 12 years and I enjoy both the training and the camaraderie of being in a team. I'm a team player that gives his all for his team and team mates. Recently I played in and won a world championship, this experience made me realise that if I want to continue improving I need to learn from the best coaches and with and against the best teams There is very limited opportunity to continue to improve in NZ as ice hockey is a very minor sports here. I consistently achieve high grades in school and bring that willingness to learn, intelligence and music to my sport. I am looking to improve myself as a player and as a person.
