Warren Lipinski '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Warren Lipinski and I am a Junior at Trinity Highschool in Louisville, Kentucky. I am a 6'6", 170 lb goaltender. I am able to adapt very easily to any locker room and any style of coaching. I am strongest when the games are close. I use my height and flexibility to my advantage every night which gives me the ability to make the kinds of saves other goalies can't make. Cam Walsh, my goalie coach has told me that I am very calm, focused, and ready to make the save at any time. I communicate well with my defense and can find the puck very easily. 

Being a goaltender has taught me a lot of important life lessons. It has taught me to remain calm under pressure and that preparation is important for every game. To be great on the ice every night, off ice preparation is very important. Hockey has taught me that you have to be focused at all times during the game. If ever you are on the ice and you lose focus or you can't see the puck at any point, the opposing team will have a chance to score. Hockey has also given me a very strong relationship with my dad. After I make a save or play stops, I know that when I turn around to take a drink of water, my dad will be standing there, directly behind the net. He's my biggest critic but also, my biggest fan and knowing that hes at each and every game means so much to me. 

My career plans are more towards the bussiness side of things, as I have always had a strange passion for stocks, investments, and entrepreneurship opportunities. I pride myself on my hardwork and determination and I hope that I can bring my abilities to your program!
