Cam Tower '19 Recruiting Profile

As an athlete, I have always dreamed of playing college hockey while getting a quality education. While I play college hockey, I dream of becoming a key player for the team while sacrificing personal goals for the good of the team. I will bring to any team a player that leads by example, consistently moves the puck to the open man, and one that is able to put the puck on net for scoring chances and for teammates to get quality rebound opportunities. I am currently 6’1” and 200 pounds and add a physical presence on the ice.

As a student, I have been selected as the Orono HS student representative to attend the Maine Leadership conference in June 2017. In the fall of 2015, I was voted the Freshman Class Homecoming King.  In February 2016, I was chosen as the Orono HS Student of the Month. Currently, I am taking two pre-advanced placement classes (Biology and U.S. History).  These two classes are my favorite and strongest classes.

Additionally, I play varsity soccer in the fall and varsity track & field in the spring.  Additionally, I also play with the Eastern Maine HS Lacrosse team in the spring. I also coach and mentor with the summer Orono Red Riot track team. This involves two practices and one meet each week for athletes between 6 years old up to eighth graders. During the fall and winter months, I am a student coach with the Maine Jr. Black Bears youth hockey program (time permitting of course).
