I have been playing hockey since I was 7 years old. Ever since I have touched the ice I knew that I wanted to play in the highest levels possible while playing goalie. Even during break the ice I wore goalie equipment, never thinking about switching positions as I love the goalie position. I have had many ups and downs but through it all I have never lost the love for the position and always seek opportunities for improvement , coaching, and competition. Suiting up for a D1 school is my dream and would be life changing and I am willing to try anything to make it there.
I am a respectful teammate and also a respectful opponent. I have nothing but respect for my opponents as they have the same dream as me but I am willing to work harder and my goal is to prevent theirs by blocking their shots. I will soak up any advice a coach gives me and use it to make myself better. At school when faced with adversity I can stand my ground and defend myself. Even standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves in the locker room, classroom, or anywhere.
I do not know what I want to master in yet but there is no doubt I want to go to college and likely pursue advanced degrees. I come from a family where my father is a trauma, critical care surgeon, who also was an active duty military surgeon, and my mother is a respiratory therapist. Therefore the importance of education and my desires for that education and a professional career are based upon what I have been exposed to.
I live in a family with 3 other brothers being the middle child. I have learned the importance of patients and teamwork living in a family of 6.
