Dane Chapman '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, scouts, etc., my name is Dane Chapman and I am a student athlete currently attending Morden Collegiate Institute. I am playing for the Pembina Valley Hawk U18 AAA program. I am also currently listed in the MJHL under the OCN Blizzard. My goal is to play in the NCAA at any level, i love to compete and want to play the highest level possible for as long as i can. I have wanted to play university hockey ever since i was little and have been striving for it since. I love to bring a new level of competitiveness wherever I play, and working as hard as possible in the off season to be the surprise at fall camps year after year.

When it comes to my schooling, even as an invested athlete i truly love school. I love going to class and taking on a challenging task and putting a full effort in and striving to get the grades i hope for. I have a great attendance record and similar to my sports i look at school as a competition, always trying to best myself. So as far as my education, its as important if not more important than my athletics. I have always been taught to seize opportunity and strive for greatness, and my major role models have been prime examples. I truly believe i can bring a level of leadership, maturity, and competitiveness to your team that will ultimately lead to team success.
