Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Robert Gray and one of my top goals has been to leave East Boston and travel to somewhere new. The opportunity I now know that hockey can be the key to this goal. I have been playing hockey since I was 5 and I have been skating since I was 3. I am a very coachable player and a very smart hockey player. I know where to be and when to be there. I would be a good candidate for any team because I am a leader with the way I am on and off the ice with my play and my academics, and the way I carry myself.
Last year as a freshman my high school team needed a defenseman, and being one of the stronger skaters on the team I volunteered. This year, as a sophomore I am back to playing forward like I have for my whole hockey career, as a center and occasionally at left wing. I have always been a defensive-minded player and a very strong face-off man.
