In my free time on the weekends I have worked as a USA Level 1 Hockey official for the past two years. Also for the past two years I have helped out Winthrop Youth Hockey President and Coach Steve Indrisano with the Mite Development Program as well as his Pee Wee 1 team last season and Bantam 2 team this season. I consider myself a quiet kid and don't really like big crowds. On weekend nights I would rather hangout with a 3 or 4 friends and play some video games than go out to a party.
On the ice I would compare my style of play to Brad Marchand just without all of the penalties. I'm a very Physical and fast player. Other than my work ethic and Speed, my biggest strength is my ability to get up ice in a hurry in both directions. My speed really allows me to get back on the back check and my physical play allows me to create turnovers. On the fore check I get up ice and prevent a lot of icings and again cause a lot of turnovers. Because like Marchand I'm not very tall, only 5'6, which means I have to be faster, stronger, and work harder than everybody else on the ice.
