Kaleb McKinley '23 Recruiting Profile

I’m Kaleb. A 17 year old, 5’10,” 195lb junior defenseman and captain out of Cadillac, MI.  I started playing hockey at age 6 and am currently playing my third season with the Cadillac Varsity Hockey team.  

I began my hockey career playing center for 6 years and have played primarily defense for the last 5 seasons.  I am willing and able to utilize my skillset at whatever position benefits my team best.  I am a very physical defenseman with speed and heads up outlet passing.   I am offensive minded while maintaining my defensive responsibilities.  I have always been a leader both on and off the ice and have high expectations of myself as well as my teammates.  

My goal is to continue on to play the highest level of competitive hockey I am able.  I am eager and willing to challenge myself in order to ensure that I grow to my fullest potential.
