Hi, I’m Landyn. I’m a 14-year-old goalie. From the first time I skated, I gravitated toward the net, I love stopping shots and making saves. My dream is to play college hockey one day, and I’m ready to put in the work to make it happen.
Being a goalie has taught me so much, not just about the game, but about life. Staying calm under pressure, staying focused, and pushing through tough moments are all lessons I’ve learned over the years. I’ve realized you won’t win every game, but there’s always room to grow and improve. That mindset sticks with me both on the ice and in school, where I work hard to keep my grades up because I know academics will also play a big role in my future.
One of the best things about hockey is being part of a team. I always try to be a positive teammate, whether it’s offering encouragement, pushing myself to be better, or just being there for someone after a tough game. To me, a great team feels like family, and I want to contribute to that kind of culture no matter where I play.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to keep improving as a goalie, stay strong in the classroom, and be the kind of teammate others can count on. Hockey has already taken me on an incredible journey, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
Thanks for taking the time to learn a little about me, I’m ready to keep chasing my dreams on and off the ice.
