I've had a lot of fun playing hockey; I love the competitive nature of the game. It’s also been a great way to meet new people and make friends in different places.
The first time I played goalie as a mite, I fell in love with it. From that moment, I knew I wanted to be in net for every game. As a goalie, I’m involved in every part of the game, and I take pride in being a leader on the ice.
That same mindset carries over to baseball, where I mostly play catcher. But I’m always ready to step into any position the team needs.
One of my proudest achievements is being part of successful teams. I’m especially excited to be on my high school’s varsity team as a freshman. I’m determined to play at the highest level possible and prove that I can compete.
I also enjoy working with younger kids who are just starting out, sharing what I’ve learned to help them improve.
As for my future, I’m interested in exploring careers in the food industry or trades like electrical work or HVAC, which seem to be disappearing. I want to do something hands-on, but I’m still open to exploring other paths.
On a personal level, I’m actively involved with my church and the youth group.
