Nolan Doersch '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nolan Doersch and I play defense, I am right handed but I am fit to play either side defensively. I have great grades moving into my senior year with a gpa of 3.9 after taking AP classes. I go to the gym to build muscles and get more fit, I would love to join a team that has a great hockey program and also good academics. I can move fast on the ice and I have a wide wingspan because I am 6'3, it's very helpful to get pucks out of tight areas and also drive people away from the net. As a defensemen, I like to rush the puck up into the offensive zone and make time for my forwards so we can make quick and smart plays happen. I am all about team, I communicate with my teammates to make sure we're on the same page and we can talk about mistakes that happened so we don't make the same mistake again.
