Cameron Cyrus '24 Recruiting Profile

Family, faith, and my experiences with different teams have all influenced who I am. Strength, support, and positivity have all carried into the person I am on and off the Ice. I became interested in hockey when I was very young. Hockey started as an outlet to do something active and meet friends and it has taught me social interactions, respect, and how to set and achieve goals. Different coaching structures made me stronger in character and influenced my decisions on and off the ice.

My school goals are to graduate and achieve a college career and add skills to use in the world while continuing to play hockey. I haven't locked in a field of study I want to commit to at this time but have a few options I am considering. Starting out as a goaltender on the smaller size I had to work on skills to set me apart from other goalies like speed, tracking, and edges. I have the drive to succeed and am going to work on pushing myself further each day to achieve my goals.
