Personal Statement

Drew is a smart player that sees the game well, competes in all three zones, and is a reliable 200 foot player. He is a strong power forward who does a good job in protecting the puck to allow plays to develop, head checking, and delivering passes to open players. He is at his best when he is driving the net or relentlessly hunting the puck on the forecheck.

Solid hockey sense, and the son of a coach. He sees the game and ice well, and is comfortable playing in all situations, whether power play, penalty kill, or a faceoff in the defensive zone with 20 seconds left in the game.

He's a hard worker, leads by example, and is a quality teammate. Can be physical, and demands/wants the puck, looking to be creative and make plays.
