Spencer Stanhope '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi.  MY name is Spencer Stanhope and I'm a hardworking hockey player.  I will graduate from Spring Lake High School in the year 2024.   I'm truly dedicated to this sport and play it year around.  I am a first line defense man who likes to play on in front of the net and can rush the puck up the ice when needed.   I like playing defense because it is a more physical style of play and that fits right into my playing style.  My most important accomplishment so far in hockey is playing on a Tier 1 AAA level hockey team in the state of Michigan. 

I was four when I started to skate and five when I started to play hockey.  I knew as soon as I first stepped foot onto the ice, that I loved hockey. Ever since than I've been practicing everyday and pushing myself to get better on and off the ice.   I have also been working on different drills to improve my hockey my I.Q..  After awhile I started to see all my hard work pay off, on and off the ice.  I began to see my hockey skills and physical ability improve greatly during the year. 

When it comes to finding a school right know, I am completely wide open.  I have just started my search and I am looking at what the schools have to offer in educational programs and hockey facilities .  My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing at a highly competitive level, move onto to a junior hockey program and than onto a collage hockey program.
