Personal Statement

My goals as a ice hockey goalie is to have fun and play to my skill level. I enjoy working hard to get to my goals. I currently play for Pueblo Bulls in the NCDC. I am an extremely hard worker and play the game with a great attitude. I look forward to continuing improving by my continued dedication to the best sport in the world.

This is a 3-week comprehensive Summer Development Program designed to prepare players for the next level. Athletes born 2006 and older are eligible to participate. Once registrations are complete, you will be assigned to a group. Please register for your group preference. Coach Phil's prior permission is required in order to register for Group 2. Elite 2010-2012 6:00-7:15AM Group 1: AAA Players 7:30-8:45am Group 2: Juniors & College 9-10:15am Group 3: AAA & Juniors 10:30-11:45am Camp Schedule Week 1: June 6-10th Week 2: June 13-17th Week 3: June 20-24th Week 4: June 27th-July 1st Week 5: July 11th-15th Week 6: July 18th-July 22nd Week 7th: August 1st-August 5th Head Coach Phil Huynh - 20 Years of coaching experience. USHL and NAHL Skills Coach (Lincoln Stars and North Iowa Bulls). Current TVI Hockey Director.

Thomas Speer: Goaltending Coach Speer joins the Stockton Heat staff after two years with USA Hockey as the National Goaltending Coach, overseeing the National Team Development Program as well as serving as the goalie coach for their Under-17 and Under-18 teams. Prior to USA Hockey, Speer spent four seasons as the Goaltending Coach for the Allen Americans in the ECHL. Prior to rising up the coaching ranks, Speer played four seasons of college hockey, split between the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and UMass-Boston. Speer played one season of professional hockey in the ECHL with the Idaho Steelheads and Las Vegas Wranglers in the 2011-2012 season.
