Personal Statement

Everyone has a passion, and mine is hockey.  I am a dedicated athlete to my on and off-ice training and take pride in my work ethic and in my drive to become a better goaltender.

My strengths include smooth, quick, and precise movements and edge work.  I am very good at reading where scoring threats are on the ice and getting myself in the best position to make the next save. Controlling my rebounds where I want is another strength of mine.  I am also not afraid to play the puck and am a vocal leader.

During the off-season, I do a variety of weight lifting, cardio, plyometrics, and on-ice training clinics.  In addition, I believe proper nutrition and taking care of my body helps me play at a high level.  I work on achieving my academic goals while I grow as a hockey player and in the classroom I have the same work ethic as I do in athletics.

I believe I would be a great asset for any team because of my work ethic, positivity, enthusiasm, leadership and talent.  My goal is to further my hockey career by playing junior and college hockey.  My hard work and dedication will not let me fall short.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
