Cade McEwen '17 Recruiting Profile

     I am an incredibly dedicated and committed to continuing my hockey career at the highest level possible. Throughout my career I have been one of the most consistent goaltenders in Minnesota hockey. I am willing to sacrifice, pursue and  persevere through any hardships to attain my goals. This season I produced an overall record of 29-1-1, with a 1.42 GAA and a .931 Sv % in the Minnesota High School Hockey League. I recorded 6 shutouts and provided 1 assist. We won the State single A Championship. During this season I also produced the following statistics against the State's top AA High School teams. 11-1-1 record with a 1.52 GAA, .941 Sv % and 3 shutouts.

     During my off time I love to fish and hunt. I spend a lot of time (when I'm not actively engaged in hockey or performing dryland training) at my cabin. I enjoy playing pickup basketball & tennis. I love keeping up with all types of sports statistics. I am a huge fan of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. One of my favorite things is the comradery of my teammates both on and off the ice. I have an outstanding support system at home and I know that will be a huge advantage during my hockey career away from home. I have accepted every challenge from my coaches along the way and I have excelled. I love to learn and be coached in many aspects of hockey and goaltending. I believe I will be a great addition to whichever team I play for.

     My educational interests, at this time in my life, generally relate to money management & investment. I enjoy sports statistics and commentary.
