Hello, my name is Liam Huso. Thank you for viewing my profile. I am currently a 10th grader and will graduate in 2027. In addition to my passion for hockey, I am also committed to being an excellent student. I earned a 4.0 GPA this past quarter and I'm taking honors courses, including algebra and geometry. I am also taking a variety of other classes, like Spanish, to keep me well-rounded academically.
I am a very versatile hockey player who can play both as forward and defense, but I am primarily a defenseman. This past season, I was on the Dodge County Wildcats high school varsity team. I have played with a couple AAA teams in the off-season. In Spring 2023, I had the opportunity to play in the festival in Duluth, MN on the CCM High Performance 14 team. In Fall 2023, I earned a spot on the Minnesota Grey Ducks CCM High Performance Tier 1 League 14u team. I just wrapped up playing in the CCM High Performance 15 festival in Plymouth, MN. I also played on the Kenai Brown Bears 16U NAPHL team. The experience of playing on both the Spring and Fall HP/Tier 1 teams was very valuable to me and I had a lot of fun playing with many players who are my opponents during the regular season. I also really enjoyed being on the Kenai Brown Bears and play in the NAPHL because it gave me a good opportunity to play with kids that are older than me. The opportunities pushed me to be a better player and I rose to the challenges.
