My name is Micah Bergeron, and I am a transgender athlete at Wayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota. I lead the GSA, I'm a rank lieutenant in the marching band, and a Link Leader. I've been playing hockey for 12 years, and have been a full-time goalie for 7 years.
I would love the opportunity to play on a men's collegiate ice hockey team. I have held off taking any hormones (testosterone) so to be allowed to continue playing.
I am quite dedicated, and determined to give my best in all things I do. I love the game with a passion. Once I am committed, I am 100% in it for the long haul. I'd love to be apart of the family that is a college hockey team.
