Kevyn Rigatti '18 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing hockey since I was 7 years old. The game of ice hockey has always been an important part of my life. I love the game.  Hockey has taught me the discipline to go after what I want.  It has taught me that working hard pays off on and off the ice.  I work harder and harder each day to prove to myself that I can always get better.

I am a leader on and off the ice. I have been captain of my club/travel team and have been in the EJEPL all-star game. These are some of my proudest moments as I was recognized by my teammates and by other coaches for the player I strive to be. It was an incredible experience to not only be on the all-star team but to score the last two goals that tied up the game and won the game in overtime.

I take pride in my off ice achievements as well. I have been on the honor roll at my high school, volunteer at a local nursing home and referee hockey games for youth hockey.  Hockey is such an integral part of my life and is truly a passion that I have. I look forward to being able to play hockey while in college while pursuing my desire to become an engineer.
