Goal: Just trying to get better every day and continue to work hard on the ice and in the classroom and play ice hockey at the college level.
Player Profile: Team-first player. Right wing. Creative, unselfish and highly-skilled.
Reputation as "playmaker" and "puck distributor" with "vision" and very high "hockey IQ." See ice extremely well. Highly competitive. Make players around me better. Generate offense off rush. Also crafty offensive threat below circles, where I can often be found battling for pucks in corners to regain puck possession. Elite-level passing skills. Ability to identity and move puck through passing lanes/seams to exploit defense and put teammates in good scoring positions. Smart on power-play. Very responsible defensively.
Take pride in being very coachable, solid in all three zones, ability to play all three forward positions, and getting along with all teammates.
Well coached. Have played on high-level AAA teams/leagues my entire youth hockey career. Currently play for Boston Jt Bandits NCDC team in United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL). Have received 1st-rate training at The NJ Devils Youth Hockey Club and NJ Rockets Youth Hockey Club -- as well as USA Hockey's "Atlantic District Player Development Program. " Have been invited to/participated in Atlantic District's development program every summer since age 12, including an international camp in Gavle, Sweden via Brynas Ice Hockey Federation.
Finished 7 th in points for all of USPHL 18u AAA 2017-2018 season.
Work hard. This past off-season trained off-ice with D1 players/NHL draft picks at XHockey Performance in New Jersey, with trainer Mike Vasalani, head strength & conditioning coach. "Vas" has 22 years experience as NHL trainer with NJ Devils and Washington Capitals. On-ice training with XHockey Performance founder Bryce Salvador, ex NJ Devils captain. As well as ex NHL defenseman Randy Velischek for weekly one on one training.
Strong academically. I take academics seriously, I graduated this past May (2018) from St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City, NJ, one of nation's leading Jesuit high schools, whose ice hockey team is regularly ranked in the Top 10 in NJ.
