Starting later than the average hockey player, I have made up a lot of loss time with on ice training. Since playing, I have taken every team and level of playing seriously. This goes as well with my schooling. During the 2016-2017 season I played hockey for East Islip High School and we won the championship. I never tried out for the high school team because I wanted to focus on my schooling and I made the IceCats 16U AA travel team already. I was asked to play for East Islip again because of my previous year's success. Balancing schoolwork, hockey and work have taught me time management. I know this will help me be better prepared for college.
What separates me from other goalies is my commitment and speed. I was taught "smooth is fast and fast is smooth". I never show emotions on or off the ice; it helps keep me focused.
2015 season (Gulls) we came in 2nd place
2016 season (high school JV) we came in 1st
