I fell in love with the sport of hockey the very moment I stepped on the ice 9 years ago. I had joined a recreational team with a friend as a defensemen and due to the team not having a goalie, I volunteered to try the position. I found my passion on that day! The pressure and intense training that comes along with the position is a motivator for me. The road to being the goalie I am today has not always been easy. I have been selected for teams at times that already had a starting goalie and for me that was my green light to take on that very spot. Proving my worth through hard work and discipline is what I put into every aspect of my life. I have been fortunate so far to have coaches and teammates that believe in me and I believe I have the talent, work ethic, and character to compete at a college level.
As for my future, my primary goal is to achieve the highest academic and athletic success I can to give me the opportunity to select a college that will give me the tools and opportunities to succeed off the ice as well as on the ice.
