I have been playing ice hockey since I was three and a half, am a multi-sport athlete (I am a goalie on my high school varsity lacrosse team). My coaches describe me as: “A leader in the locker room and on the ice,” “Highly teachable, eager to please, kind and supportive to his teammates,” “An athletic machine- constantly working to improve,” “Fun-loving but knows when to get serious.”
I would describe myself as an extremely athletic nerd. The most defining moment in my life was the death of my father (and coach) while we were at a hockey tournament, January 2022. It taught me to persevere during adversity and motivated me to live up to his memory- he is forever my hero. My favorite activities during my spare time include playing the tenor and baritone saxophone, snowboarding, boating and all water sports, weight training, CrossFit, and general problem solving such as engineering or physics problems (yes- I do this for fun). Although these activities are trivial, they still bring me joy. However, I will say hockey is and will continue to be my top priority aside from my academics. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile.
