Hi I am Ron Oyer. At 18 years old, I weigh 190lbs and I am 6'2". I have been playing hockey since I was 6 years old. I started with house hockey and worked my way up EYHA, AA hockey team. My most recently I played with The Warcats Hockey Club (H.S.) in Columbus, OH who competed in states last year. I play defense but have been used as a right and left winger. I was the leading defenseman in points, not only in goals, assists, but hits on the ice. Currently my GPA sits at a 3.84. For the 2024-2025 season I am playing with USPHL JR. team The Motor City Gamblers. My hope for 2025-2026 season is to play at the Collegiate level. I want to not only be challenged but it will propel me further in skillset and a career in hockey. When I am not on the ice I swim, play soccer, run track, train, and Rollerblade to stay in shape. - The HS Evaluation Camp is an exposure opportunity open to all HS age players. Players will get to experience college hockey at the University of Michigan at a showcase run by the Michigan Hockey Coaches. Each player will get 1 practice run by the Michigan Coaching Staff & 4 games. Junior Hockey Coaches from the USHL & NAHL will also be in attendance.
