Personal Statement

It was clear from the time I first walked into the local arena where my dad worked with a professional hockey team, as one of the teams Equipment Managers, getting to experience the locker atmosphere as a young child, I immediately fell in love with the game. It wasn’t long after, I suited up for the first time at the age of 5 for my first Learn to Play Timbits Hockey season. My goal after high school is to further my education and to continue to play hockey at the college level.

Academically, at Northmont High School, my current GPA of 3.566 and a member of the National Honor Society, at the midway mark of my Sophomore year.

Athletically, I am an all-around player and leader on my team. As one of the goaltenders on the team I am looked upon as one of the teams’ leaders both on and off the ice. I am coachable player, always eager to better myself, in order to be the best goaltender I can be for my team.

SNG Performance Goaltender Camp

During this 3-day camp, SNG staff will provide instruction for goaltenders on the following areas: Skating, puck handling, fundamental save selections, rebound control, and situational reads. Campers will receive 3 hours of on ice instruction, as well as two goalie specific off ice workout/classroom sessions each day. Goalies will be placed in groups based on age and ability to ensure that each goalie is appropriately challenged.
