Cole Hammond '24 Recruiting Profile

Hockey for me, I believe is in my genes! Coming from Canada and having hockey all around me and family members as players and goalies meant at some point I was going to play hockey. I have been playing hockey since I was 3 yrs old and have worked my way up through the ranks. Moving forward in my teenage years, I have wanted to pursue a hockey career in collegiate hockey in the US. I am working on my opportunities to do this currently through the NAHL and USHL. I continue to work hard at school to maintain a good GPA as well as try to balance my hockey life. Aside from hockey, I also participate in my high school’s track and field program and I am an active participant in the long jump, 800m, and all the relay events. Past sports interests were baseball and swimming and I still continue to work towards my Lifeguard Certification. I currently possess my First Aid and CPR certification and I believe this will helpme in any aspect of my life. I am keen to pursue a career in business analytics and I know that my sports career as a goalie will serve me well. I am a hybrid goalie, I am good with my speed and positioning. I am an active teammate and love my ice time and the more the better. I am a keen learner and active listener.
