Owen Vander Velde '20 Recruiting Profile

My goals for attending a college/university are to obtain skills and knowledge to help me gain success in my future career, make life-long friends, and have positive experiences that I will remember.  I have a passion for hockey and am considered a good team player and a defensive forward.  Many of my past coaches have complimented me that I am competitive while still having a heart for the team.  I am willing to work hard and have a good attitude no matter what the outcome of the game is.  I have played competitive hockey since I was six years old and still have a passion to play as much as I can.
