As a hockey player that started later in their life, there was a definite experience gap between me and the other players. But, that didn't really matter because; I am a hard worker, and I am always ready to learn anything I can to improve my game. Coaches say that I am a very coachable player meaning that I am always open to learning and expanding my knowledge on the game, and I always do what is told of me to the greatest extent possible for me. I would say that my IQ of the game is somewhere where I excel in terms of how I play, I am able to analyze plays and put myself in the best position possible in almost any scenario. Because I can analzye plays at a high degree it also enables me the ability to pass very effectively to my teammates allowing them to score, make plays, and not putting them in bad scenarios. Playing at a Collegiate level is one of my goals because not only can I play the sport that I love, I can also have an education and learn on the ice, and off the ice.
