I wish to begin by thanking you for taking the time to review my profile.
I have been truly blessed to have had an opportunity to play the sport of hockey since the age of 5. My parents constantly tell me the story of wearing a hockey helmet all day long at the age of 2 and not wanting to take it off, even when we went to the grocery store. I have always loved the sport of hockey. My passion for hockey is not limited to making nice plays or getting points on the ice. It extends to being one with my teammates, sharing common goals, working hard, constantly learning and striving to improve. As my team's Captain, I strive to exemplify these values.
I have constantly improved academically and athletically throughout the years. I believe that, with the proper academic environment and athletic coaching / resources, I am only at the commencement stage of my development.
I look forward to attending an NCAA institution and being part of a hockey team where striving to improve is paramount.
