I live for hockey which I have been playing since I was 10 years old. It is a sport where I enjoy the team aspects and pushing myself to achieve the goals I need to help improve the overall team.
To help improve my skills in hockey, I have left my family behind in Australia and attend boarding school in Canada at CIH Academy. This was a big move for me and the results I am gaining have shown me I can achieve if I continue to work hard.
I have been selected as captain and alternates for several teams in a variety of high school sports in Australia and try to lead by example while also encouraging others. I have been described by my coaches as extremely coachable and strive to work as hard as I can. I listen to what I am being asked to do and strive to improve my game in any way I can.
In the classroom, I also try and study hard. I volunteer at my school on weekends to help with other hockey games or figure skating events.
I want to attend a college where I can continue to work hard in the classroom and on the ice as a good education is important to me. I am open to all options and would like to find a good college at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
