Personal Statement
I am a black belt in Martial Arts and that has taught me discipline and this has kept me physically fit, and has given me the ability to maintain composer in confrontational situations. I graduated from the United States Navy Sea Cadet Recruit Training to advance in the Naval Sea Cadet Corps from R.T.C. Great Lakes in Chicago, Illinois. I served in the 791st Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Squadron. I am currently a forward for the Southern Tier Xpress Junior A Team playing in the NA3HL while taking classes at Penn State Behrend. I previously skated with the Lockport Express Junior A Team playing in the NA3EHL and taking Business classes at SUNY of Buffalo. In the past, I played center for the Buffalo Regals AAA U18 playing in the Eastern Junior Elite Prospect League (EJEPL) and previously with the West Seneca Wings AAA U16 team in Buffalo, New York. Recently, I was invited to skate in the New England Pro AM Pre-Draft Tournament May 2016 in Boston. I had completed a Summer Hockey Camp with the Niagara University Purple Eagles at Dwyer Ice Arena in Niagara Falls, NY. I also attended a Spring Development Prospect Camp with the Ontario Hockey League - Erie Otters at Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA. also, had been invited to the Erie Otters main training camp for 10 days in Erie, PA. I have played in several showcase tournaments around the country. The most recent was December 2016 in the NA3EHL Blaine, MN. Showcase. I desire a team that loves the game as much as I do. My work ethic is driven, on and off the ice. I value team contributions and am willing to do whatever it takes for the betterment of the team. In addition to being a hard-worker and team leader, I am eager to bring my game to the next level and committed to achieve success on and off the ice. - I workout and run at the gym everyday right after school so I have time to do my homework and study later in the evening. Every other day I have karate and right after that, I go to hockey practice. When I don't have homework, I go to a local hockey fitness complex for puck handling, skating and shooting development.
