Nicholas Giuliano '22 Recruiting Profile

I started playing hockey when I was 7 years old and since that first game when I put on the pads, I knew I wanted to be a goalie. Playing hockey at the collegiate level has always been a dream of mine. I am currently the starting goalie for my Junior team Philadelphia Little Flyers in the EHLP. Other sports, have included, playing high school ice hockey, youth travel ice hockey, lacrosse and travel baseball. Other interests include spending time with my family and friends, working out, playing guitar, being an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, and video games. I have a strong connection to nature as well as a love of dogs.

As a goalie, one of my best assets is my ability to stay calm and remain even keeled. I was once told that I have ice water running in my veins by a former coach. I work hard to always try to improve my overall game; whether it be in a team practice, with my goalie coach or off ice in the gym. I strive to be a leader both on and off the ice and try to lead by example. I have been told by coaches that I am very coachable athlete and aspire to be one of the hardest working players on the team.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself both in the classroom and on the ice. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
