Personal Statement

My goal when I get to college is not only to play college hockey., but it is also to do well in my college classes. I want to either be a chemical engineer or a doctor.  That means that I need to do well in my classes, and never slip up. The thing that makes me different from other candidates is that I am an extremely hard worker. I never give up and I always work my hardest, no matter what. I also am very good at time management as well.

  • Instructor's Final Comments on Player's Week at Camp: Neel had a phenomenal showing at camp this week. He moves smoothly in the crease and his hand placement when in his stance is nicely positioned. His sliding and reacting to make saves is down calmly and confidently. A point of emphasis this week was staying lined up to the puck on the stick rather than the shooter's body which leads to more open net for the shooter's to have available. When he follows through on this and keeps his hands out in front of him rather than relaxed, he is tough to beat and it's very tough to generate any rebounds of him as he controls the puck nicely. Always staying on the little elements of the game regularly like skating drills and edge work will only strengthen his game and make him progress higher through the levels of hockey. Best of luck this coming season!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
