Hi, I'm Jacob Cone. The 2024-25 season marks my tenth year of playing hockey and my eighth year as a goalie. I pride myself on being a hard worker on and off the ice, as well as being the first one ready for practice. During practice, I try to focus on areas that I have been struggling with or need fine tuned so I will be fully prepared for the game. I have my own pregame routine which includes getting some zone time to mentally prepare. I have to rely on my athleticism more than my size since I am a smaller goalie.
Outside of the rink, I work hard to maintain my 4.0 GPA and try to get involved in the community. One thing I am most proud of is my work with the Beaver County Ice Sharks, it is a great organization that is for a great cause. I am also currently progressing toward the requirements I need to be invited to my school’s National Honors Society next year.
I really hope your program considers me so I can continue to progress on and off the ice.
