~~My main aspiration in life is to play College Ice Hockey and to major in Sports management. Sports management is most suited for me because I like every aspect of being in charge of a professional sports team. I am good with computers. Whenever I'm not at a Hockey game or practicing, I like to use my phone in my free time to see how a player is doing or if he's on a hot streak. I am always interested in stats and figures or players’ salaries when it comes to my favorite sports teams or any other team that catches my eye. I hope to keep playing hockey and join a school that challenges me mentally, physically, and guides me through the path to accomplishing my aspirations. I am also interested in joining a school where there is high athletic competition. I currently play Junior Hockey for the New Jersey Wildcat's and play on the New Jersey Rocket's summer Elite AAA team. I played High School Hockey and have help lead my team to two tournament championships called the Casey Classic and two District Championship back to back in the past 4 years. Also I have played in two Atlantic District Championships with the Wilkes-Barre Junior Penguins. But in search of more competition I joined the New Jersey Wildcat's. Being able to play on a Junior team last year and this year is giving me a lot of experience playing against athletes older than me and it helps me know what I am going to face when it comes to college hockey. Hockey is my passion and I hope that one day I get the opportunity to play college Hockey.
-What makes you a good candidate for their team?
When it comes to playing on the ice I am always keeping my eye open for better plays.. Even at stressful moments on the ice I am always thinking on my toes and speeding to the puck when it comes lose or racing back towards my goalie to help protect the net which is what a good defenseman should always do. When it comes to shootouts my accuracy on the net and wrist shots always make a huge impact that helps me score. In hockey you need to have great discipline and not do anything stupid when it comes to taking penalties. I'm not afraid to get hurt when it comes to blocking shots with my body to help my goalie out.
-What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics?
Despite being very competitive, my team always comes first. I am a very generous player I play for my team and like to make sure every play I make benefits my team and teammates. I give 110% to hockey and 110% to my academics; they are the two most important things in my life along with my family.
