Hello, my name is Jacob Rios, my goal is to play hockey while attending college to pursue my interests in international business, cyber intelligence, and criminology. I am self-motivated and passionate about this sport I love. I have been playing hockey for 12 years, ever since I stepped on the ice at 6 years old I knew that this would be worth the effort to learn so I could play competitively. I am a team player and enjoy every team and experience where I have had the opportunity to play. I take coaching well and continually work to better myself. I played hockey at Cathedral Preparatory High School in Erie, Pennsylvania my freshman year. I was then recruited my sophomore year to play for Harborcreek Youth Hockey as left wing for both their junior varsity and varsity programs in the Cleveland Suburban League as well as a league in Buffalo, New York. The summer of 2023 I had the honor of being selected to play in the prestigious, statewide Keystone games at Pennsylvania State University representing our region of Pennsylvania. I am excited to continue this winning streak and hope you feel I would be a great addition to your hockey program.
