Renaud Simard '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Renaud and I have been a goaltender since I'm 7 years old, but in my head since I was 4 years old, I knew that's what I wanted to do. When at 5 yo, I started to play in a hockey team, my parents refused to let me goal saying that I could do so when my skating would be A1. At my 7th birthday, I asked for money as present and bought MY own goalie stock. After that I kept getting better and was noticed quickly by AAA recruiters and made my way in elite hockey league since then. I'm never afraid to work hard. We're from Quebec but if you know our hockey level, I was selected by a LHJMJ team the Rimouski OCEANIC , but didn't get to go because of COVID-19. Also I am very lucky cause I have learning ability, so I succed very easily at school. I like sciences, biology and thinking of studying in the medical field either for human or animal (veterinarian studies).
