James Flavell '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is James Flavell. I am a grade 11 student at Collège de Montréal in Canada. I am a dedicated hard-working student and athlete. My main priority is to enroll in a top-level college but I also aim to make hockey a  big part of my US college experience. I am and have always been a goalie and this has taught me to be strong and keep my focus in the face of adversity. This has also helped me in my studies because it allows me to take responsibility in group work and ensure that the resulting work is of high quality. My determining qualities would be my work ethic on and off the ice as well as being self-driven and striving to improve my game and pushing my teammates to improve theirs. These qualities as well as my academic and athletic strengths are why I think I would be a great fit for any top-level college as well as their hockey programs.
