Luc Bourdon '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a person who strives for excellence, both athletically and academically. I’ve always been chosen as a leader on the hockey teams I have played on, either assistant captain or captain. I’m the type of person who works extremely hard to be the best that I can be, both on and off the ice. 

I am an excellent student, and my high school average is around 98%. I am especially proud of my marks in math which are in the 99% range as well. My most recent grades ( June 30/23) under  Grade 11/Junior report cards in my profile under "Academics". I am a duel language student, who is fluent in french. I will graduate next year with a full french immersion diploma.

I believe I have learnt to be a good citizen from my parents, who work hard every day to lead my brother and I down a good path in life. I have always been encouraged to follow my dreams and College Hockey is where that dream is at. My dream is to earn a college scholarship and continue my schooling, while playing the game I love!!

I work hard during the off season as well. I operate a small lawn care business that provides me with a way to pay for myself when I am away from home playing hockey.

(In February of Grade 10 and Grade 11, I transitioned to online learning with my high school back in Prince Albert so I can fall back to in person classes when I move home. When the hockey season is done, I return back to in person learning at St. Mary's High School in Prince Albert. This would explain if there are a large number of absences from St. Mary's)
