A shot never taken is an opportunity missed. If you want to be successful in life you always have to take the shot. That means you strive to be the best you can be, focus, watch, listen and learn. That means pushing yourself to make changes, to go beyond what makes you feel comfortable. Being successful takes drive and determination to work hard every single day and to go after your dreams no matter how far out of reach others may think that is. At times it's been really hard, but I have never given up. I have always taken the shot, and it's this that has helped me reach my goal of playing in the SJHL for the Yorkton Terriers. Taking the shot has brought me another step closer to realizing my dream of attending a Division 1 College in the USA and playing the sport I love, hockey.
