Kade Olsen '19 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I can remember, i've always been very active in sports. I have excelled in all the sports I have played, such as; lacrosse, football, volleyball and hockey. In my early teens, I decided to pursue hockey full time, dedicating myself 100% to the sport I love.  I am thankful that my parents ensured  that I took a break from hockey in the summer so that I could spend my time doing other summer sports that I love, like golfing, wake surfing and waterskiing.  This has allowed me to take a mental break and strengthen my body in other aspects, which I believe in the end, all allow me to be a better hockey player.

Throughout the years I have realized that even though I love to play hockey, an education is very important, and to be able to play hockey and get an education at the same time would be a dream for me.  I am very strong academically, and part of the reason why I am able to play hockey at such a high level is because school comes easy to me.  I am a team player on and off the ice, and am very excited for the next chapter of my life.
