Anthony Holleran '23 Recruiting Profile

For me, getting to play college hockey is my goal. I want to get there and be amazing. I want to be the captain of the team and be the leader that everyone looks up to and that takes hard work.  Right now, I play Midget AA and next year, juniors is the next stop in my career. For any team that gives me a chance, I'll play whatever role you want. I can play PK, PP, 1st line playmaker, 4th line grinder, whatever the coach wants. I feel like my hands and creativity are what separate me from the rest. I may not be the biggest player on the ice but I'm not scared to throw hits or get in the grindy areas. I like playing in front of the net and tipping pucks. I also like skating it and making a move around the defender and then dishing it off for a pretty tap-in for the other guy. I look up to Tyler Bertuzzi, because of how  hard he works to get to the next level. He is a great grindy guy that is not always the best player on the ice, but he works hard and gets it done. Pavel Datsuyk is also a great inspiration just because of his nasty hands. I hope one day I could play as well as Datsuyk and light the lamp for your college team. Along with playing hockey, I also do well in school. I have a 4.8 GPA and I am taking honors and AP courses. I also speak Spanish due to my Hispanic heritage.
