Hello, thank you for taking the time and looking over my profile. Hello, I'm Justin Iannuccilli I'm 17 I play for the Nashville Flyers 18u AA. I am 5’8 135 pounds. I’m a Junior at Spring Hill High School with a 3.7 GPA. My grad year is 2026.
I’ve been playing hockey I would say my whole life. I started when I was 4 years old. I jumped right into goalie I found the passion for the challenges that a goalie deals with and the hard work that goes into it. As a goalie, I blame myself for goals if I think honestly are my fault I will admit to the goals and fix what I did wrong. I don’t blame my players for anything that’s on my coach to do. If I want to be a good teammate I don’t think I should be yelling at my players for a mistake that they made. I always get the boys talking in the locker room and get the morale up. I make sure everyone is ready to work and to make sure we all know what needs to get done.
What am I like academically? I am hard-working and always paying attention. I never cause any trouble and am always the teacher's number-one choice. I stay quiet and do my work and get it done correctly. I get all my work turned in on time and make use of my time management skills. I have a GPA of 3.7 currently only taking one honors class and two AP classes. I'm always helping my classmates if they need help and always finding easier ways to explain it so they can understand the material better.
I'm, not the tallest goalie you can’t hide the truth. But I do my job well I would say. I might be short, but I stop the puck when needed. As a goalie and a teammate, I would say I’m a leader, I care for my players, I make sure everyone is happy with their play, and I'm always finding ways to fix problems.
If you were to ask me what qualities I have as a person I would say hard-working, I'm always striving to be better, to be that 1% that gets it done. I would say I'm patient I know Rome wasn't built in a Day so I don't expect to be Marty Brouduer any time soon. But as I put in the work and strive for greatness I see in myself and the belief that I can do it. I can get to that point where I'm up there with the greats. Sounds like I'm ahead of myself I'm not at all. I believe in myself I have the confidence that even though I might have a disadvantage with my height compared to their goalies I fully believe that with my speed, agility the way I read the play, and the way I play in general substitute my height factor and that's where my confidence plays a roll. I will always believe in myself if no one else does. I believe if you want people to believe in you you have to believe in yourself and be confident that whatever adversity comes your way it won't stop you from achieving what you want.
Thank you again,
Justin Iannuccilli
