David Bushkin '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is David Bushkin. I am a left-winger from Renton, Washington, currently playing for the Seattle Jr. Thunderbirds. I am constantly working to take my skills to the next level on and off the ice and always be better than I was yesterday.  My biggest contribution to any team I play for is my offensive IQ and ability to crash the net and pick up rebounds. The weaker points of my game are endurance and defensive IQ; however, I am consistently working on turning these weaknesses into strengths. On the ice, I only have 3 thoughts going through my head, get the puck in the net, keep the puck out of the D-zone, and win. Off the ice, I am fun-loving and energetic, I am always trying to make people laugh and keep my teammates pumped. At school, I am a hard-working student trying to get the most out of my education. I am in my school's card club and I am part of the theater program. Entering my sophomore year I have a 3.8GPA  which I plan to maintain or improve while taking honors and AP classes.
